Community Team Huddle

FCA Community Ministry is the off-campus opportunities to reach coaches and athletes through the club and recreation sport environment. With the majority of athletes playing sports in the community (non-campus programs), FCA is ministering to the club, recreational and youth sports teams with the goal of establishing on-going ministry for coaches and athletes to compete for Jesus Christ with character, passion and excellence.

Howard County Leadership Board:

A Leadership Board is a volunteer advisory board of leaders in a community or region who love Jesus, care about coaches and sports, and recognize the incredible platform that athletics provides to impact their area for Jesus Christ.

Want to Volunteer to be a Team Huddle Mom or Team Huddle Dad at your local school FCA Huddle?

DESCRIPTION

As a team mom/dad, your role is to help assist the Huddle Leaders with anything they need for the huddle. Team moms and dads may help organize food for the huddle and organize any supplies that the Huddle Leaders may need. Team Moms and Dads also promote the huddle through their circle of parents in the school.

TIME COMMITMENT OF AN FCA TEAM MOM/DAD

The time commitment is based off of how often the school huddle meets and promoting of the huddle via email, text, etc. Your time may also be sent bringing certain food to the huddle or other things the huddle leaders may need to make the huddle fun and exciting.

GOALS FOR TEAM MOM/DAD

Our goal is to reach athletes and coaches for Jesus Christ. We also want to reach other parents. Feel free to invite other parents to help organize and facilitate the huddle.

Authority

... It’s hard to give up our desires for the greater good of the team. Is there a way to submit to authority in our lives and be stronger for it?...
